Low-emissivity (Low-E) glass is a glass coating that improves the energy efficiency of the windows. In different seasons, Low-E glass reflects heat in and out of the room, avoid the temperature loss. Meanwhile, it can also filter harmful UV rays from sunlight. So low-E glass has a wide range of usage scenarios.
MAC Glass has participated in the design, construction, installation, commissioning, and turnkey SERVICE of various major low-E coating projects in China. Accumulating rich experience in the field of low-E glass and other coating equipment construction.
We design the lines for production of different coating series and colors. Apply international brand name cathodes, molecular pump and MACsoft full line automatic control system. The max project productivity reaches 50,000 square meters/day with 64 cathodes. Max processing size coating line achieved 24m with double silver coating.
Single Low-E single silver
• A functional layer of nano silver for infrared reflection
• Plating 3-6 layers of nanomaterials
• Low uniformity requirement of +/- 3%
Double Low-E double silver
• Two layer nano silver functional layer for infrared reflection
• 7-10 layers of plating
• +/- 2% uniformity requirement is high
Triple Low-E Triple silver
• Three nano silver functional layers for infrared reflection
• Total plating 11-14 layers
• +/- 1% uniformity is required
